October 25 gave the world the Battle of Agincourt, and this one-page printable comic tells the whole day in panels.
The hero story is the Battle of Agincourt in 1415, when English forces under King Henry V defeated a much larger French army at Agincourt during the Hundred Years' War. Using longbows, disciplined formations and the muddy terrain to their advantage, the English achieved a stunning victory against overwhelming odds. Around it are ten more true events from the date: the Siege of Lisbon ending (1147), Dirk Hartog reaching Australia (1616), the Second Battle of Cape Finisterre (1747), George III becoming king (1760), John Adams marrying Abigail Smith (1764), the Charge of the Light Brigade (1854), Benjamin O. Davis Sr. becoming the first Black general (1940), and the U.S.-led invasion of Grenada beginning (1983). A born-and-died strip closes the page.
Print it for morning work, a history lesson, or an October 25 study. One page, no prep.
After checkout, your printable PDF will be delivered by email from The Wandering Pilgrims. The download link stays active for 24 hours, so please save your file when it arrives. If you need it again after the link expires, just reply to your order email and we will resend it.
