"My conscience is bound to God's Word." In April 1521, Martin Luther stood before the emperor at Worms and refused to take back his teaching unless he was convinced by Scripture. This one-page comic tells that story honestly, including why historians treat the exact famous "Here I stand" sentence with care.
Eight panels, a word to know, discussion questions, and a timeline of the wider world in 1521. Suggested ages 8-14, for Christian homeschool families, classrooms, and co-ops.
This comic is also in Martin Luther: The Complete 12-Comic Collection in the shop, with the Teacher's Guide.
This is a digital download. Nothing ships. For one household.
