Animal and Science Comics

Kids ask the best questions at the strangest times. Why is an elephant's skin so wrinkly? How does a tiger hide when it is bright orange? Those questions deserve better answers than a shrug, and they are a wide open door for learning together.

That is why I started making animal and science comics. Each one takes a creature God made, tells its story in pictures and plain facts, and points kids back to the Maker. If you are looking for Christian comics for homeschoolers that treat science as a reason to marvel, start here.

What it is

Printable comics about animals and the natural world, written as Christian science comics for kids. No dry lists of facts to memorize. Each comic follows one animal, shows how it lives, and draws out the design details that make kids say, hold on, really?

Who it is for

Homeschool families with curious kids, especially elementary ages. These are an easy fit for nature study, science units, or a child who would read about animals all day if you let them. They also work well for reluctant readers, because the pictures carry half the story.

How it works

Pick an animal, download the PDF, and print it at home. Read it together in about ten minutes, then let the questions run. Each comic stands on its own, and this shelf will keep growing as I finish more animals.

The comics

Right now that is the African Elephant comic and the Tiger comic. This is the smallest shelf in the shop, and more animals are coming.

Questions families ask

Are these written from a Christian worldview? Yes. I write about animals as creatures God designed on purpose, and the comics say so plainly. Families who teach science with the Bible open will feel at home here.

What ages are these comics for? Most families use them with kids about 5 to 11, reading together. The pictures keep younger kids engaged, and the facts are meaty enough that older kids learn things they did not know.

How long are the animal comics? Most are one page: one animal, one story, quick to print and easy to read in one sitting. As this shelf grows, some animals will get a series or be gathered into bundles, and those will say so on their product pages.

Will there be more animals? Yes, this shelf is small right now and growing. Joining the email list below is the easiest way to hear when a new animal comic is ready.

How do I get my comic after I buy it? Each comic is a printable PDF you download right after checkout. Print as many copies as your own family needs.
